Mill-Ghatba 'Gewwa is a series of documentaries produced by CVC media for Television Malta. Each programme visits a particular place which is normally not so accessible to the general public, but which offers wealth of historical, artistic, industrial and architectural heritage...often unknown to many. The series includes locations around the Maltese islands which contrast sharply with each other.
They include centuries old places of worship like the mystical Abbazija tad-Dejr, fortified palaces like Verdala, beautiful country houses like Villa Francia, palatial residencies like the archbishop's palace in Valletta, huge fortresses like Ricasoli, and industrial hubs like Palumbo ship repair. Every programme sets out to inform the televiewers about Malta's rich heritage which is often bypassed.
