Gozo's Two Fortified Cities

Gozo`s most important landmark is the Citadel, the old fortified town, visible from all over the island. This documentary illustrates in depth the military architecture used when fortifying this hill which today silently guards the modern town of Victoria. Gozo has another fortified place, Fort Chambray built in the later stages of the knights` stay in Malta.It was never properly inhabited and it is only now that a modern tourist village is being constructed behind Fort Chambray`s grey fortified walls.
